Oakley Square Residences is a completed low-rise development in District 11 of Jumeirah Village Circle, built by Ellington Properties, which describes the project as a partnership with Sol Properties. Two linked buildings, Tower A and Tower B, rise four residential floors above a ground floor and a basement, wrapping a planted courtyard that the developer built the scheme around. Ellington's construction record for the project is marked completed, with twenty-one monthly update sets running from September 2022 to May 2024 against an anticipated completion of Q2 2024.
The development holds 269 freehold apartments: 67 studios, 146 one-bedroom and 56 two-bedroom homes, according to Ellington's project brief. Twenty-five labelled plan types are published, from a 414.63 sq ft studio to a 1,516.53 sq ft two-bedroom, and every one has a balcony whose area is printed separately as outdoor living area. The larger one-bedroom types add a separate study and a laundry room; the two-bedroom types add a laundry and storage room and, in five of the six, a third bathroom. One parking space is allocated to each apartment.
Shared facilities sit on the ground and first floors around the courtyard. Ellington's first-floor amenities plan lists a leisure pool and a lap pool with a pool spa, baja shelf, cabanas and sun loungers, a shaded children's pool and an outdoor children's play area, a padel tennis court, a games table zone, a shaded barbecue area with outdoor dining, an outdoor terrace with lounge areas, indoor and outdoor fitness areas with male and female change rooms, and a cinema room. At ground level the plan shows two lobbies with lounge areas and lift lobbies, electric-vehicle charging stations, bicycle parking and parking for people of determination.
Jumeirah Village Circle is a low-rise residential district in the middle of Dubai, laid out around parks and schools. Ellington's brochure puts Circle Mall two minutes away by car, Dubai Hills Mall seven, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Marina ten, and Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa fifteen. The imagery published for the project is the developer's own architectural renders, produced before completion.
