DT1 is a completed residential building by Ellington Properties in Downtown Dubai. Ellington places it between Burj Khalifa Boulevard and Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, with direct views over Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay and Sheikh Zayed Road. The developer's customer fact sheet lists drive times of two minutes to the Opera District and to Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, eight minutes to the Dubai International Financial Centre, twelve minutes to Meydan Racecourse and sixteen minutes to Dubai International Airport. Ellington's construction-update page marks DT1 as completed; its last site update is February 2021.
The building is arranged as a ground floor, two podium levels and fourteen residential floors, which Ellington summarises as sixteen levels plus ground. It holds 131 homes: 26 studios, 36 one-bedroom, 52 two-bedroom and 14 three-bedroom apartments, and three penthouses. Nine plan types are published, from a 535.94 sq ft studio to a 5,642.87 sq ft penthouse, and every one has a balcony. Ellington describes living rooms and kitchens finished in laminated wood and lacquer joinery and opened into one another, kitchens with integrated appliances and an under-mount sink, and floor-to-ceiling windows used to bring daylight into every room. Its agent fact sheet lists 3.2 m ceilings in living rooms and bedrooms, premium tile flooring, window-walls with Downtown views, fitted wardrobes for walk-in closets and dressing rooms, Miele appliances and pre-wiring for high-speed internet, phone, data and home automation. Bathrooms have quartz vanity countertops, integrated lighting and his-and-hers medicine cabinets and sinks.
The residents' facilities are complete, and Ellington's own photography of the finished building shows them. A leisure pool and a lap pool sit on level three with a pool lounge and sun deck; the fitness centre is equipped for cardiovascular and free-weight training; and there is a club lounge with a kitchenette, a games room, an indoor children's play room and a barbecue area. The lobby has a lounge, the ground floor holds a public art gallery with a sun-drenched open terrace, and the building includes retail space; Ellington also describes a reading patio and outdoor and club lounges. The building has two passenger lifts and a service lift. Studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments are allocated one parking space each and three-bedroom apartments two.
Ellington describes DT1 as an inside-out design wrapped in a sleek glass facade, conceived with the Perkins+Will team, and says the building was voted Best Residential High-rise at the Arabian Property Awards three years in a row. Ownership is freehold.
