DAMAC Islands 2

DAMAC Islands 2 is a villa and townhouse community by DAMAC Properties in Dubailand, Dubai, launched in November 2025 as the next phase after DAMAC Islands. DAMAC describes a master community of about 20 million sq ft in which each neighbourhood is inspired by an island destination: Bahamas, Tahiti, Bermuda, Barbados, Cuba, Maui, Mauritius and Antigua. The plan is organised around a central network of lagoons and waterways, and the developer frames daily life around five pillars of eco-living: nature, wellness, adventure, social and cultural. Homes come as townhouses, twin villas and detached luxury villas. DAMAC's floor plans show a four-bedroom mid-terrace townhouse (DSTH-M1) with a saleable area of 2,185.50 sq ft, a five-bedroom mid-terrace townhouse with maid's room (DSTH-M2, 2,829.29 sq ft), a five-bedroom end townhouse with maid's room (DSTH-E, 3,158.24 sq ft), a five-bedroom twin villa with maid's room (DSTW, 3,492.24 sq ft) and a six-bedroom luxury villa with maid's room (DS-V45, 6,276.33 sq ft). Every plan has a private garden, a carport, a laundry and storage room, balconies and walk-in wardrobes. Apart from the four-bedroom townhouse, which has two floors, each type adds a roof level with a terrace. The brochure's material specification lists porcelain-slab flooring, walnut veneer and brushed-brass details, and DAMAC notes that finishes may be substituted and that furniture is not included. DAMAC plans more than 45 amenities across the community. They include the Tranquil Lake & Eco Park with a Zen garden and the Horizon Trail, the Whispering Waterfall with a hidden restaurant and the Opal Yoga Deck, a Botanic Garden with a butterfly nest and bird watching, and the Solar Link Park with solar charging and e-scooter lanes. For wellness and sport there are Island Vida Wellness with a healing spa and herb garden, a hydrotherapy zone with saltwater pools, and the Eco Performance Grounds with an eco-friendly gym and sports field. Sky Woods Adventure adds a treehouse park, canopy walk and zipline, the Eco Hub clubhouses combine a fitness and wellness centre with a natural swimming lagoon, and the Garden of Insight museum library and the Cultural Square, with a climate-controlled dome, performance stage and food market, complete the plan. These facilities appear in the developer's plans and renderings and have yet to be built. The community sits in Dubailand beside the original DAMAC Islands. DAMAC lists approximate drive times of 15 minutes to Sports City, Motor City and DAMAC Hills, 20 minutes to the Expo 2020 site, 23 minutes to Al Maktoum International Airport, 25 minutes to the Burj Khalifa area and Dubai Investment Park, 35 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 40 minutes to Dubai International Airport. DAMAC Islands 2 is sold off-plan, and DAMAC gives 30 June 2030 as its anticipated completion date.
