Richmond District

Richmond District is Mira Developments' branded residential development in Al Furjan, Dubai, created with the fashion brand John Richmond, established in London in the 1980s. Mira's project page describes it as Al Furjan's first fully integrated master plan: five residential buildings and one office tower united by a shared podium of retail, wellness and leisure. Mira's launch announcement of April 2026 places it next to Discovery Gardens Metro Station and says the architecture was developed by Marco Casamonti of Archea Associati in close collaboration with John Richmond. The homes are studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, which Mira's project page describes as fully furnished residences. Mira's brochure says the fully branded studios and apartments reflect the John Richmond aesthetic, with tailored lines, bold attitude and confident detailing. The brochure describes a contemporary interpretation of mashrabiya screens that filters sunlight, reduces heat and improves comfort, and says that with operable mashrabiya screens the façade shifts throughout the day. Mira's project page names Tower 1 as the first residential release within Richmond District. Mira's brochure lists three community pools with sunbeds and shaded areas, landscaped water features, an outdoor fitness area, a gym powered by Technogym, a yoga zone, a padel court, table tennis, a spa, retail outlets, cafés and restaurants, and landscaped walkways. Mira's project page adds that the gym has separate zones for ladies and gents. The brochure also lists concierge, valet parking, butler service, housekeeping and room service. The apartment and lobby interiors pictured are Mira's typical John Richmond designs. Mira's project page gives handover as Q1 2029. Mira's March 2026 Mira Care announcement says its five-year maintenance warranty will apply to all current and future Mira Developments projects in Europe and the Middle East, and that the programme is combined with a three-year warranty on all branded loose furniture.
