The Quayside

The Quayside is a residential tower by Ellington Properties in Business Bay, Dubai, on the Dubai Water Canal. Ellington describes direct access to the Dubai Water Canal Boardwalk, and the developer's ground-floor plan shows the building's frontage on the boardwalk with the Downtown Dubai skyline across the water. Ellington lists driving times of about 5 minutes to Business Bay Metro Station, 11 minutes to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, 16 minutes to Dubai International Financial Centre and 18 minutes to Dubai International Airport. Ellington lists 118 units, from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, together with a bespoke five-bedroom penthouse. The developer's floor plans cover a studio, two one-bedroom, two two-bedroom and one three-bedroom layout, with total living areas from about 542 sq ft to 1,739 sq ft including balconies. Every plan includes a balcony and a laundry room, the one-bedroom and larger plans add a powder room, and the two- and three-bedroom plans include a maid's room. Ellington describes open-plan living areas, modern fixtures and high-quality finishes throughout. Ellington's first-floor amenity plan shows a leisure and lounge pool with a cascading waterfall, net seating by the pool, a Baja shelf, sun loungers and cabanas, a separate kids' pool and an outdoor kids' play area. Indoor rooms on the same floor include a fitness studio, a zen room, male and female spa rooms and an indoor kids' play area, and the plan places a clubhouse with a kitchenette beside an outdoor lounge terrace, an outdoor dining area and a pizza oven and barbecue area. The ground-floor plan shows a lobby with a reception, a lounge, a library wall and a communal table.
