UAE Overtakes US and UK to Claim Top Spot for Global Property Investment
The UAE has strengthened its position as one of the world’s most sought-after real estate markets after a new global survey ranked it ahead of both the United States and the United Kingdom as the leading destination for property investment.
The findings highlight the growing international appeal of the Emirates at a time when investors are increasingly prioritising stability, strong returns, and long-term growth prospects.
According to the research, 56% of global investors expressed serious interest in the UAE property market, placing it ahead of the US at 54% and the UK at 41%. The survey, conducted across 12 key markets among established property investors, underscores how the UAE continues to attract capital from both regional and international buyers despite ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
What stands out is the breadth of demand. Investors from India, Egypt and Saudi Arabia ranked the UAE among their preferred investment destinations, while European buyers from France, Germany and Switzerland also identified the Emirates as a leading market outside their home countries.
Strong rental yields, tax efficiency, investor-friendly regulations and a reputation for safety and political stability remain key drivers behind the country's growing appeal.
The results further reinforce the momentum already visible across the UAE’s real estate sector, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where transaction volumes, new project launches and international buyer activity continue to reach record levels. Major infrastructure investments and ongoing economic diversification are also helping to strengthen investor confidence in the market’s long-term outlook.
As global capital continues searching for resilient investment destinations, the latest rankings suggest the UAE is no longer simply competing with traditional property powerhouses, it is increasingly setting the benchmark for international real estate investment.
