The UAE Climbs Global Real Estate Rankings as Transparency Becomes an Investment Advantage
The UAE and Singapore have strengthened their positions in JLL’s latest Global Real Estate Transparency Index, as digital services, stronger regulation and greater access to market data reshape where investors are prepared to place capital.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi were named among the markets making significant progress, supported by the digitisation of property services and new regulations. The Dubai Land Department was also recognised for providing real-time, publicly accessible market data.
This matters because transparency is becoming a practical investment consideration. Clearer transaction information, stronger governance and better digital infrastructure make it easier for buyers and investors to compare opportunities and assess risk.
The report found that transaction volumes across the world’s most transparent markets increased by 64 per cent over the past two years. These markets now attract more than 80 per cent of global direct real estate investment.
For the UAE, the ranking is another sign that its property market is becoming more established, accessible and easier for international capital to navigate.
