Saudi Arabia's Real Estate Market Remains Resilient Despite Economic Headwinds, CBRE Reports
Saudi Arabia's real estate market continued to demonstrate resilience during the first half of 2026, with demand remaining supported by government investment, large-scale development projects and ongoing economic diversification, according to CBRE's latest market analysis.
The report found that while the Kingdom's economy is facing a more challenging regional environment, structural demand across the property sector remains intact. Population growth, infrastructure spending and the continued rollout of Vision 2030 projects are sustaining activity across residential, commercial and hospitality markets.
Residential demand continues to be underpinned by government initiatives aimed at increasing home ownership, while office markets in major cities such as Riyadh remain supported by business expansion and corporate relocations. Hospitality performance has also benefited from rising tourism and continued investment in large-scale destination developments.
CBRE noted that market conditions are becoming more measured compared with previous periods of rapid growth, reflecting a shift towards sustainable expansion rather than slowing demand. Investor confidence remains supported by ongoing regulatory reforms, private sector participation and long-term development commitments.
While broader economic conditions continue to present challenges, the report concludes that Saudi Arabia's property market remains supported by long-term fundamentals, with Vision 2030 continuing to shape investment and development across the Kingdom.
