Real Estate Industry Leader Jay Papasan Steps Down After 26 Years at Keller Williams

One of the most influential figures in global real estate education is stepping away from day-to-day leadership at Keller Williams, with Jay Papasan announcing he will leave his role as Vice President of Strategic Content on 1 August after nearly 26 years with the company.

Papasan joined Keller Williams in 2000 when the business had just 27 employees and fewer than 7,000 associates. During his tenure, the company grew into the world's largest real estate franchise by agent count, while Papasan played a key role in shaping its education, publishing, research and marketing divisions.

Best known as the co-author of The ONE Thing and several bestselling real estate books alongside Keller Williams co-founder Gary Keller, Papasan has become one of the industry's most recognised voices in productivity, leadership and agent development. His books have sold more than seven million copies worldwide.

Although stepping away from his executive responsibilities, Papasan said he will continue working on Keller Williams publishing projects while focusing on writing, coaching, speaking and supporting his family's Austin-based real estate business.

The announcement marks the end of a significant chapter for Keller Williams as the company continues to evolve its leadership team following a series of executive appointments and strategic changes over the past 18 months.
