Dubai’s Secondary Property Market Shows Early Signs of Recovery as Home Sales Rise 25%
Dubai’s established property market is showing renewed momentum, with secondary home sales rising 24.6% across July and August compared with the previous two months.
The increase comes as activity returns across established communities, pointing to early signs of recovery after a softer period for the resale market.
What makes this shift worth watching is where the activity is happening. Rather than growth being driven solely by new launches and off-plan demand, more transactions are moving through Dubai’s existing housing stock.
Adding another layer to a market that remains heavily influenced by off-plan sales, while suggesting demand for completed homes is beginning to strengthen again. Recent data also showed prices rising across 81% of Dubai communities, alongside a broader recovery in transaction activity.
The next few months will show whether this momentum develops into a more sustained recovery across Dubai’s secondary market.
