Betterhomes Reports Record Tenant Enquiries in Dubai in September

Tenant enquiries at Betterhomes reached their highest monthly level on record in September 2026, rising 31% compared with September last year.

Across Q3, rental enquiries increased 45% from Q2 and 15% year-on-year, marking a recovery following disruption to market activity in the second quarter.

That demand translated into signed leases. Betterhomes let 46.7% of the rental listings it published in September within the same month, its strongest leasing rate since May.

The brokerage also reported more than AED 5.76 million in leasing commission, its highest monthly total this year, and said it led Dubai brokerages for leasing commission in September.

Betterhomes CEO Richard Waind said the results reflected demand from people choosing to live in Dubai. For landlords and buy-to-let investors, the brokerage highlighted the potential for well-priced homes to attract tenants sooner, reducing vacant periods and supporting more consistent rental income.

The figures reflect activity at Betterhomes, offering a view of tenant demand through one brokerage’s enquiries and completed leases.
